My first DA journal entry. I figured this is the place for it, since the cause for my frustration at the moment partially has to do with DA. Not the site itself, mind you. My computer has been all messed up and in the shop. Guess who never bothers to back up files? Despite all the problems with getting my computer fixed, they were able to save my music and my pictures. *Huge sigh of relief* However, my pictures had a duplicate file. Vaguely aware of that, but didn't really consider that. So when the one duplicate file was wiped out, I didn't realize that it was the file I'd been saving all my current pictures in. I am relieved to have been able to salvage so much, but so torked off at losing the last few months of pictures. At least back to June. My lazy tush hadn't uploaded pics from my digicam for awhile, so I hadn't deleted any from it either. Made it a point to upload those right away today. The girls first day of school, etc. Thank heavens for small favors! Looks like I'll just have to take loads of pics over the next few weeks. Like that'll be a problem...lol. I am back though, and will have more posted before long.
